Zu dieser Zeit war an Automobile jedoch noch nicht zu denken. Der Japaner Toyoda begann stattdessen manuelle Webst\u00fchle zu bauen. Im Jahr 1924 entwickelte er mit seinem Sohn automatisierte Webst\u00fchle und lie\u00df sich diese patentieren.<\/h4>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Toyota_Automobile_gewinnen_an_Bedeutung\"><\/span>Toyota: Automobile gewinnen an Bedeutung<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h4>Die Erkenntnis, dass Fahrzeuge f\u00fcr den Menschen immer wichtiger wurden, brachte Toyoda dazu, eine eigene Firma f\u00fcr den Fahrzeugbau zu gr\u00fcnden. Daf\u00fcr verwendete er den Erl\u00f6s aus dem Verkauf seines Patents. Der Familienname Toyoda wurde zum Firmennamen Toyota. 1935 war Produktionsstart des ersten Modells, des\u00a0 A1. Dieser Prototyp wurde sp\u00e4ter als AA in Serienproduktion hergestellt. Die Herstellung des ersten Nachkriegsmodells begann 1947. Dieses Modell, der SA, unterschied sich von seinen Vorg\u00e4ngern durch einen Vierzylinder-Reihenmotor, Einzelradaufh\u00e4ngung und einer kleineren Karosserie. Die ersten Modelle, die in Europa angeboten wurden, waren der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.at\/ersatzteile\/g\/toyota\/corolla\/\">Toyota Corolla<\/a> und der Toyota Corona. Die g\u00fcnstigere Version des Corona war der Carina, der ebenfalls zu den ersten nach Europa exportierten Modellen geh\u00f6rt. Das Nachfolgemodell, der Avensis, wird noch heute produziert. Diese Fahrzeuge zeichnen sich durch eine Premium-Ausstattung aus. Die Modellpalette reicht von der Kompakt- bis zur Oberklasse. Au\u00dferdem gib es mehrere SUV und einen Sportwagen. Wie Toyota selbst, setzte auch Lexus als einer der ersten Autohersteller auf Hybridantriebe.<\/h4>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Toyotas_Vorteile\"><\/span>Toyotas Vorteile<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h4>Die japanische Automarke wurde lange Zeit von den westlichen Konkurrenten in der Automobilbranche untersch\u00e4tzt. Es galt die Annahme, dass die asiatische Fahrzeugindustrie allgemein unterentwickelt sei. Stattdessen setzte Toyota jedoch schon fr\u00fch auf kleine, sparsame Modelle, die gerade im Zuge der \u00d6lkrise an Bedeutung gewannen. Die weiteren Vorteile der Marke liegen in einer stetigen Verbesserung von Qualit\u00e4t und Technik. Immer neue Innovationen werden entwickelt und gelangen zur Serienreife. Toyotas Automodelle sind gekennzeichnet von neuester Technologie, Sparsamkeit und Sicherheit. Der Toyota Corolla ist eines der erfolgreichsten Automodelle der Welt. Inzwischen wird er seit 10 Generationen produziert. Toyota geh\u00f6rt zudem zu den Vorreitern in der Entwicklung von Hybridtechnologien. Zeitweise wurde Toyota sogar als gr\u00f6\u00dfter Autohersteller der Welt gef\u00fchrt. In Pannenstatistiken f\u00fchrt die Marke weiterhin die ersten Pl\u00e4tze an. 2009 und 2010 kam es infolge einer umfangreichen Pannenserie jedoch zu einem weitreichenden Imageschaden, der die Absatzzahlen einbrechen lie\u00df. Neue Entwicklungen, wie das Brennstoffzellenauto Mirai, das 2014 auf den Markt kam, zeigen jedoch, das sich Toyota nicht beirren l\u00e4sst und weiterhin auf moderne, umweltfreundliche Technologien setzt. Das Qualit\u00e4tsmanagement wurde umstrukturiert und verbessert. Die Edelmarke Lexus wird inzwischen auch in Japan angeboten und erfreut sich dort steigender Beliebtheit. Die derzeit angebotene Palette an Modellen reicht in Mitteleuropa vom Kleinstwagen bis hin zu Lieferwagen.
